Hello Guys and Gals!
It’s baking time!
Myself and my lovely assistant Amy decided to make some banana muffins. We didn’t really have the right baking tray or muffin cases, but we made do and actually it turned out alright.
I found an easy to follow recipe from allrecipes.com and thought we’d give it a go.
To begin with you will need:
1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1/2 teaspoon of salt
3 large bananas (We only had two)
3/4 cup of white sugar
1/3 cup of melted butter
First.. Pre heat the oven to 175 degrees C or gas mark 4 and coat the baking tray with non-stick spray or grease.
Sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a separate bowl.
mush the banana and add sugar, egg, melted butter in a large mixing bowl.
Fold in the flour mixture and mix until the mixture is smooth.
Scoop the mixture into the muffin cases or baking tray and put in the oven for 15/20 minutes.
When baked take it out of the oven and leave to cool down.
The finished product!
As you guys probably know, I’m not a very good baker.. But I can say they may not look the best.. however, they taste amazingly! Next time I make these I’m going to use a deeper tray and muffin cases.
